Overview:
Level 1 contains 25 Lessons and lays the foundation for reading with phonemic awareness and CVC word blending using highly decodable words. Students learn individual sounds (letters and combinations) and immediately apply them to blend and read short words and simple phrases. Controlled vocabulary ensures mastery of early sound-symbol relationships.
