Level 1: Letter Sounds & Recognition

 

Focus: Introducing the alphabet and basic phonemic awareness.

Level 1 contains 15 Lessons.  Students learn the 26 letters of the alphabet and their corresponding sounds. This level builds essential phonemic awareness, teaching kids how to hear, identify, and produce the individual sounds of English. Activities include tracing letters, matching sounds to pictures, and practicing simple words with clear visual support.

Key Skills:

• Recognizing uppercase and lowercase letters

• Learning initial sounds (A is for apple)

• Developing listening and pronunciation skills
