Level 5: Advanced Phonics & Word Families

Focus: Diphthongs, r-controlled vowels, and decoding multisyllabic words

Level 5 contains 27 lessons.  Students are introduced to more advanced phonics topics such as diphthongs (oi, ow, ou, oy) and r-controlled vowels (ar, er, ir, or, ur). This level focuses on developing independent reading skills and preparing students for higher-level spelling and vocabulary.
